Barbara Geerlings
MY CHIROPRACTIC STORY:
IFor many years I was very active. My muscles and conditioning allowed me to function pain free. Gradually the exercise stopped and poor work posture created chronic pain. One of the many joys of moving from CA to TX was finding Dr. Loper. He is different from other Chiropractors I have seen and different is good, I am extremely grateful to him for his help. God Bless Him!

Describe what conditions you had before receiving treatment.
Chronic back pain from neck problems , neck problems due to no ergonomics at work for most of work life. Pain in hip and upper leg.
Describe the length of these conditions and how they affected your life.
Back – over 20 years.
Hip – Couple of years
Back – I just dealt with it. Didn’t hamper me. I just hated hurting.
Hip/Leg – I couldn’t walk to get exercise, wasn’t as flexible as I had been.
Describe the various attempts of treatment before seeking Chiropractic care.
Regular massage(every week). Stretching – Yoga, physical therapy, chiropractic in CA, orthopedic work up.
Describe how you felt about your introduction and treatment here.
Different type of Chiro than I ever had—is more subtle – gave my body more of a chance to gradually adapt to a normal posture/position.
Describe how your condition responded to treatment, the conditions that have improved, andalso any conditions other than what you came here for, that have gotten better.
Had ups and downs. But gradually over time the pain was not as extreme when it was bad and there were times when I was pain free longer and longer. All good. Felt on the road to recovery.
Describe how your improvement through chiropractic care has affected your life.
Tasks and activities that used to be a problem and would lead to a bout of pain no longer do. I am pleasantly surprised when I feel really good and realize it is because chronic pain has been sent on it’s way to bother me no more.
